This is the first edition of Plug Into Powerpack. The idea is to give you opportunities to get involved and support the team. Every year people say they'd love to help throughout the year and every year I say yes that would be great. Then nothing happens! So here's your chance - a list of opportunities you may wish to take on.

Each year the Powerpack team lead events at Spring Harvest (14th-19th April), Faith Camp (1st -8th August) & Grapevine (27th-31st August).
We have a few team spaces for Grapevine Celebration for 2009. If you're interested please contact Heather.
Something Overseas?
We are hoping to take a team to Argentina
(provisionally Sept 24th-Oct 5th) in September & October. This is to work with the Powerpack team in Argentina, but also to catch some of the fire for ourselves! If you are interested contact Heather. |

We're looking for a team of people who can advertise Powerpack locally. Are you able to contact local churches, share our resources and encourage people to join our Academy? Why not print our brochure and hand it out?
We now have this new website and a new range of teaching resources that we believe will make a big difference to children's work in our churches.
Is designing publicity your thing? .At the moment I do lots of graphics and publicity materials - maybe you'd like to work with me.
Occasionally we attend exhibitions as Powerpack and have stands. This may be something you'd enjoy doing too. |

Are you artistic or crafty? Would you be able to use some of your spare time to make craft kits, flags and ribbons and other similar resources? As these items are sold we'd need the highest level of care and attention and prompt delivery to our centre or to customers upon request.
Good with computers? Are you able to take our PowerPoint presentations and develop them? Could you help us with an area of the website, developing translated resources or local networks?
Are you able to translate? We'd love to translate our resources to support teams in other countries. We are developing a 'hub' on our website to upload and download resources for translation. If you can help get in touch.
These are all little jobs but would make a significant difference to the ministry. |

At the moment Powerpack receives about £700 a month in gifts and has building and admin costs of about £1300 a month. The shortfall is made from selling resources. This situation means that lots of time is spent with financing the ministry through retail rather than developing resources and developing training.
Heather and myself are also supported by people and both of us presently do not have our full support needed.

We have a team of people who regularly pray for Powerpack and for members of our team. For us this is critical - if you'd like to join our prayer network then email us.
We are also developing an area of our website called 'Nation Shakers' http://www.nationshakers.co.uk/ - this will be child friendly and engage children in mission, prayer and sharing testimonies. Can you help with this? |
