Faith 11
"Join with thousands of people from the nations, across the generations, from all walks of life, to advance into this new decade, celebrating and encountering the true King of kings – Jesus Christ. God is raising up a people who know their God, who are taking the life of His Kingdom into every sphere and strata of society. The church is being turned inside out for this next generation of time to live beyond itself, to see God's life and power at work in every day life. Faith11 will be a time of being equipped both individually and as churches to live this life of overcoming faith, unfailing love and victory that the world so desperately needs. With venues for all ages, every generation will be infused with a new passion for Jesus and inspired to live the gospel in an uncompromising way. Looking forward to an awesome week."

Faith Camp 2010 Your KIngdom Come...

Faith camp 2010 was the 25th for Powerpack. Back in 1985 Heather and a small team of 12 leaders set off with all the equipment loaded in a ford fiesta. Back then God’s power was at work in children and their families and now thousands and thousands of young people have been ‘Powerpacks’.

The week as normal was packed with fun and laughter, praise and prayer and plenty of opportunities for God adventures. A highlight for lots of children was our Kingdom Agent groups, which gave the children missions: one mission was to learn to pray for the supernatural; one for nation shakers, looking at Powerpack Thailand; one was operation blessing, hearing God speak and leaving notes or Bible verses for people on site; the final one was ‘listen & Go’ ask God for people and things pray for and go and find them and pray.

Here are a few testimonies:

God is so awesome, I believe that God is to fill everyone in Powerpack full of his power – Hannah age 8

On Tuesday while we were singing ‘Worship the King’ God filled me with the Holy Spirit and I started to cry – Hannah age 7I closed my eyes and God spoke to me, he said I needed to pray for somebody in the bookshop. There was an ambulance there, so we prayed for the person in the ambulance – Olivia age 8
God changed me, and now I’m living a better life – Mattia age 9
We asked God for some clues of who to pray for – he said stadium, pink jacket, Lily, more Holy Spirit. When we got to the stadium we saw a girl with pink jacket, she said her name was Lily, so we prayed and afterwards she said she felt fluttery. A Yellow Group

This year’s event was entitled ‘Your Kingdom Come’ and looked at four areas: God is always good, Nothing is impossible for God, Jesus is the Champion and You are significant, loved and valued. The children learnt a kingdom declaration:
I am a child of God (John 1 verse 12)
God will always be good to me. (Matthew 7 verse 11) (HEART)
With God nothing is impossible (Philippians 4 verse 13) (QUESTION MARK)
I’m a winner because Jesus won the victory. (Romans 8 verse 37) (CROSS)
I’m significant, loved and valued. (Jeremiah 29 verse 11) (U letter)

We used a shield as a visual aid and talked about coat of arms showing family, what we believe in and our identity.

Faith Camp 2009 Jesus Mighty Warrior

The write up said:
If you had a choice between a life of failure or victory which would you choose? In a time when the nation doesn't know who to turn to there is a rumble in the Spirit - The Lion of the tribe of Judah is roaring and is summoning His church to stand up in the land holding the standard of the Kingdom of Heaven high.

We are not called to live swept up in the wave of worry that is sweeping the nations. No! We are called to live in the wake of Jesus the Mighty Warrior who goes before us. Faith09 promises to be a life changing, dynamic week.

As we encounter Jesus the Mighty Warrior we will become mighty warriors ourselves; living by Faith in Jesus Christ and walking in our true inheritance!

Faith Camp 2008

'Ignite' Powerpack's theme for Faith Camp in 2008. This year we asked for God's fire, the Holy Spirit, to change us. The theme ignite explored a passion for God, purity in our lives and a lifestyle that sees God's power at work. We ran two groups 'Livewires' (150, 5 & 6 year olds) and 'Powerpack' (270, 7-9 year olds). Here are a few testimonies:

'I saw the whole tent on fire and it was the Holy Spirit's fire!' - Keziah
'God gave me more fire and Holy Spirit.' - Sinal
'I used to get bullied at school, but when Powerpack prayed for me (last year) it stopped completely.' - Lauryn
'I had a bad headache and noises in my head and God took them away.' - Chido
'God gave me my hearing back; I used to use a hearing aid.' - Senas
