Nick and a team of folks from Headington Baptist Church led a Shine Party as a positive alternative to Halloween. This is the third party based around the song 'Shine From The Inside Out' It allows kids to discover that God doesn't want fear but freedom - through a simple talk with the puppet sketch 'Don't Be Afraid', and a pumpkin with a light shining out just illustrates that God wants us to show His light. Filled with His Spirit we can bring freedom and hope to people we meet.
There was a noisy games time, party food, puppet sketch and mini-talk followed by a disco (with glow sticks) or construction challenge.
It was superb time!
