POWERPACK 8-11’s

We had an amazing time and God was very much at work, every meeting was wonderful!.

Our theme was ‘No Limits’ - Love, freedom, healing, worship, blessings, power, relationship, and going with no limits. The children seemed to really grab hold of this and our biggest problem was praying for the large numbers of children who responded every meeting.

We tried something new this year in the form of our Powerpack Academy. The children were given the opportunity to choose to be part of the Academy, which was a training school in five areas – Prayer and Prophecy, Worship, Preaching and Teaching, Drama and Puppets, and Dance. The children had to select one of these areas and then instead of their normal activity (games, craft etc) they went to their appropriate training session. 246 children opted to be part of the Academy, which was a much higher number than we had anticipated.

On the last morning we let some of the children from the ’Preaching and Teaching’ group preach and they were amazing (we recorded them if anyone is interested in hearing them), some children from the ‘Worship’ group led the worship and some sung a song that they had written, some danced and the ‘Prayer and Prophecy’ group did the praying!! The children were not told that they would be participating in the meeting until they went to their sessions and so had around 30 mins to prepare – what they achieved in this amount of time (particularly the preachers was incredible – it made me wonder what would be possible if they had more time and were receiving this kind of training and opportunity to minister on a weekly basis in their local churches!) During this time 10 children responded to a ‘preach’ by one boy about connecting with God and became Christians and 44 responded to a ‘preach’ about being missionaries and receiving a vision. Many children became Christians, were filled with the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues for the first time, had visions and words from God, experienced the love of God for themselves, received healing and were set free etc, etc. over the weekend. All in all God did some amazing things and it was a great time.

‘POWERPACK FOR THE ALL THE FAMILY’

Our ‘Powerpack for the All the Family’ meeting on Monday morning was great, with many adults being profoundly touched by God and receiving ‘blessings with no limits’. The place was absolutely packed and there was an incredible sense of the presence of God. The children prayed for all the adults, which is always very special.

At the Xtreme prayer workshop God spoke to me and said he wanted me to pray for Jerusalem and for peace. He then asked me to go to Jerusalem and help make peace and then he told me the right time to go (Samuel).

During the parents meeting my mum went through the ‘river' tunnel in her wheelchair. She suffers from M.E. Many children prayed for her. Afterwards she felt much better and even felt hungry which is something she hasn't felt for a long time. (Alice)
