"Undefeated, Undefeated, Undefeated Champion!"  Our children are singing it as they go to sleep and when they wake up in the morning. - A parent

 

A parent spoke to Nick at the end of the weekend saying how much their children had enjoyed it -but they couldn't get the song out of their heads!  Nick and Dave Bentley from oxford together with Pete and Ali Gray, from Durham led some of the kids work at Morningside Baptist Church in October.  It was a superb weekend. 

 

Morningside Baptist Church is at an exciting point as they explore missional communities - Jim Graham was speaking about Future Church and the challenges we face.  Nick and the team picked up the same theme - looking at the church of the future through children’s eyes: What would the early church be like for a child? What would they think of Pentecost? Or living in a close community? How would they view signs and wonders? What does it look like for children in church today?

 

There were many highlights for the team - some great worship times, open discussion groups and opportunities to pray for healing for each other and a group of adults after the service. 

 

Great weekend - God is good.
