Nick, Rich Cave, Sarah Jones, David & Jenny Hurrell all set off to Manchester on 27th September, 2013 to lead teh chidlren’s work at WHBC’s Encounter Weekend. They had a great time; such a great church with such a God given vision for the life and revivalof their community.
David & Jenny led ‘Go Tots’ 3-6 year olds – exploring God The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit and our Identity. They used a wide raneg fo hands-on activities to help the younger children explore heaven on earth and see the Father’s love in action. One highlight was the Sunday session when the children could crawl through a play tunnel to heaven and bring back an item that represented what they would bring back from Heaven e.g. tissues for ‘No more pain’ etc.
Sarah, Rich & Nick led the ‘Go-Kids’ 7-12s and went on Operation MediaCityUK to pray at the BBC studios for our nation. Salford Quays is rapidly becoming a place of real significance for our country with Old Trafford, Trafford Centre being joined by the BBC and ITV. The future also looks to include large entertainment venues. The children walked down to pray and declare over Media City that God’s kingdom comes and his laws are right in the leadership of these establishments.
The team had lots of fun and are very appreciative of the warm welcome from WHBC.
We believe that the children today can shake this nation.
